In 2018 I initiated the Perennial Institute to explore creativity through the lens of plants.
Each year in spring and summer I collaborate with a multidisciplinary group of artists, designers, biologists, gardeners, herbalists and more in a variety of global research activities.
We work from the vision that plants are our overlooked teachers, and by spending time with them, listening to them, and learning from them new forms of knowledge emerge.
We playfully and critically explore this knowledge through embodied, feminine and intuitive approaches. We embrace slowness to best cultivate alternative ground for creative practitioners to unlearn, re-root, imagine and thrive.
