Perennial Institute

The Perennial Institute is an experimental educational project exploring creativity through plants.

Plants are a fundamental aspect of our existence. They are cohabitants of this planet, and we believe they are our teachers. Plants are part of our consciousness in ways we are only starting to understand. They nourish us. They liberate our imagination. We care for them, and they care for us.

Over a 6 day program in Berlin, Germany we gathered artists and designers from Europe, America, Brazil and Australia. We encouraged co-learning, co-creation, and collaboration. Emphasis was placed on embodied experiences, experiential learning, feminine and intuitive approaches. Plants were our teachers and our classrooms were the parks and gardens of Berlin.
